Geography. Nature. History. Science. Humanity. It’s all right there in your glass.

In 2016, I decided to begin formal wine education, and passed the Certified Specialist of Wine exam in January of 2017. With absolutely 0 experience in the wine industry, and not much of a varied experience in drinking wine, it was an ambitious endeavor. But, here’s the thing. The study of wine has taught me more about geography, history, chemistry, and culture, than I have ever learned through other channels of education.

Perhaps the thing I love most about the subject of wine is that it is an endless study. There is always more to learn.

I am here to share all things wine as I continue to explore, research, drink, pair, and travel. I hope you’ll come along by clicking the follow button and reading along.

I have always felt that wine is fun. Everything about it is fun to me. I believe it should be that way for everyoone, and if you  find yourself in a wine setting that doesn’t feel fun, i.e., someone is making you feel bad about your wine choice, or trying to prove that they know more than anyone else in the room, run away as fast you can! Who needs that? No one.

Cheers!
